SEX
%Title: ACSEAN: Publication of Americans for Contemporay Sex Ethics
Issue 72
%Descr: A relatively tame sex zine (in comparison to other sex zines
listed here) covering attitudes and responces to sex rather
then being packed full of hot stories and pics.
There's a exploration into the causes of incest, the dire problem
of population control, an editorial about censorship, and several
pages of erotic art.

%Title: APA-69 CLASSIC Issue 85
%Descr: "*APA-69 Classic* is the best fucking APA in the world."
Well it certainly is about fucking, I'll just have to check
out *APA Eros* to see if it's the best fucking APA. Fimilar
names on the membership roster include Richard Freeman and
Arthur Hlavaty but everyone contributed some fine material.
Art Rapp's Yingle runs 28 original mimeographed pages while
Bernadette Bosky chimes in with 24 pages much of it about her
experiences crusing the internet.
I'm not sure if spec copies are available, they may be for
contributors only.

%Title: APAEROS Issue 44 June '93
%Descr: APAEROS is: "an unedited reader-written forum on sex,
erotica and relationships of all kinds: het, lesbian, gay,
bi." Participants don't hold back here so you'll find
things to arouse and/or offend you. Intellectual
discussions, incest porn, soft and hard porn, and erotic
illustrations all appear here.
I don't recognize any of the contributors here: Albert Hooper,
Faust, Jack Topaz, Judy Lene, Yael Dragwyla, and Jennifer Peachy.
I liked the idea of an apa having zine reviews.
The editors are thoughtful, responsible people who seek to
include many more types of contributors and writing.

%Title: ASIA FILE: The zine on sex and relationships with S.E. Asian
Women
%Descr: Issue 1 Aug. '93
Formerly *Farang XXX Sanuk*, I assume the editor changed the
name to clear things up. Bars, brothels and even the sex
workers themselves in South East Asia are rated.
News about bars in Bangkok, a Vietnam update, getting around in
Indonesia, a Thialand diary, tips on avoiding STDs in Thailand,
and an interview with an American who frequents Thiland.
Please send P.M.O. to "cash." This and *TWIT* are *the* guides to
travelling through S.E. Asia for good sex fun.

%Title: BIZARRE SEX: AND OTHER CRIMES OF PASSION II 1993
%Descr: Well-written sex stories mixed with a healthy dose of the
bizarre.
Dawn Dunn's "The Lonely Heart" is a compelling and nicely drawn
story about a woman's sudden, bloody awakening to the erotic
nature of self-inflicted pain. Serial killers at play in Lauren
Fitzgerald's "The Game." Most of the stories here are concerned
with the crossroads where sex meets violence, but, strangely, not
in a way that would turn off the reader. It's good stuff here.
And Robert Gregory Griffeth's cut-up photocollages that are
sprinked throughout the magazine are quite wonderful.

%Title: BLACK SHEETS Volume 1 Issue 2
%Descr: A great new (and very hot) zine on multi-sexuality put
together by the same people that put out the annual *Black
Book.* Real stories about real sexual experiences, hot
fiction, and resouces for straights, gays, lesbians, and
bi-sexuals.
Now up to 24 big pages (maybe they'll be at 32 for #3). Bill
wrote an interesting article exploring the definition of sleaze,
including a check list for sleazy acts and a bunch of sleazy
poems. Carol Queen explained how to throw a safe sex party, Paul
Reed tried to make amends, Bill told us about his trip to the
March on Washington, Ferret wrote short porn, and Bill talked
with the editor of *Straight to Hell*.

%Title: BLUE BLOOD Volume 1 Issue 3
%Descr: Smart, literate, homo/hetero sex content with a goth edge in
this very slick zine.
The lead story in this issue is an in-depth profile of Gen and
her performance group, Genitorture, which pierces, drips hot wax
on, and otherwise brings pain to its audience. There's also a
short, but informative piece on getting X-rated material through
computer bulletin boards; some short and sexy fiction; a couple
of photo spreads -- both hot, nicely photographed girl-girl
stuff; and a reviews of everything from guns to books. My
favorite part of the magazine, though, is the pornographic Little
Lulu comic.

and essays on life.

sexuality, a health column by Harold Litten, and some really
enjoyable reader letters.

%Title: EIDOS: Sexual Freedom & Erotc Entertainment for Women, Men, &
Couples
%Descr: Volume 7 Issue 2
A thick, sexual-liberation newspaper with tons of reviews
and intelligent articles on a variety of free-speech-related
issues. Check this one out for reviews of sex books, sex
zines, sex videos, and sex toys. They also have letters,
poetry, erotic fiction, and tons of ads for swingers and 900
numbers.
With 16 tabloid pages of extensive reviews this thing is worth it
just for the unusual angle they have on zines. (Couldn't find a
review of *F5* though.) They also reprinted (from *The Spotlight*
I think) some extensive material on the Council on Foreigh
Relations/Trilateral Commision, what the church is doing in
Poland, and some erotic fiction.
At ten bucks a pop it's pricy but I wouldn't say it's not worth
it.

%Title: FASCINATION Volume 9 Issue 2 Fall '93
%Descr: *Fascination* is an incredible little newsletter for people
(mainly men) who are attracted to women with disabilities
(maily leg amputees). Each issue is filled with gentle
erotic stories of encounters with women missing a leg or
sometimes an arm. Simple tasteful drawings compliment the
stories.
This issue has a story of the girl with a rose tatoo on her
partial leg stump, Randy frantically tracking down an amputee in
a mall, a short play about the fictional "Dial-an-Amp" service,
and A.J.'s autobiography on how she lost her leg (with a
wonderful photograph).
A wonderful thing, definetely un-PC. The zine is a bit expensive
becase the procedes are used to support an annual social
gathering in Chicago.

%Title: FRIGHTEN THE HORSES: A Document of the Sexual Revolution Issue
12
%Descr: A brand new look to one of our favorate magzine in the
poly-sexual zine arena. *FTH* covers everything from sexual
politics to eroticism, from gay, lesbian, and multi-sexual
perspecives.
Issue 12 starts off with a bright color cover surounding 64 pages
of vital information and hot stories. Mark wrote an excellent
piece critiquing Madonna and how the gay community was taken in
by her stance; Lou Ann Thomas commented on the difference between
organizing lesbians and gay men; Terry LaBan contributed a fun
two-page comic; Neal Goldsmith explained how the electronic
databases keep tabs on us; John Earl sent in the first part of a
series exposing the history of satanic witch hunts; but the
highlight of course is the 16 pages of fiction.

%Title: GOOD TIMES MENTERTAINMENT: Good Times For Men May '93
%Descr:
It falls short of being a slick zine but the photos are a pretty
good quality. It is definetley aimed towards a male audience and
by the looks and depth of the articles it's probably aimed a men
that frequent stipper bars. I've never seen anything like it, but
then again - where have I been? Here's a magazine about
stippers. The lifestyle, clubs and covering (or uncovering) just
about everthing in the alluring industry. I found it fascinating
to see a magazine devoted to this subject. Although, it comes
out of NY, and focuses on clubs in that city, it's still pretty
captivating. Photogaphs tell all.Try it, don't be shy, it looks
like these girls are really enjoying themselves. Plus... who's
gonna see ya.

%Title: IT'S OKAY: An International Consumer Quarterly on Sexuality,
%Descr: Self-Esteem, & Disability Volume 2 Issue 3 Fall '93
A very exciting newsletter for people with disabilities
dealing with health and sexuality. Eye-opening and
revealing into a world I rarely interact with.
A hugely expanded issue (from 8 to 24 pages) is chock full of
ideas and opinions. Linda explained what Blisssymbols are (a
graphic language used by people unable to speak) and how they've
been expaned to include sexuality, Spirit Synott tells us what
it's like to grow up in and out of a wheelchair, Matthew Law
explained his early life in England, and Randy Warren is back
with more wonderful stories.
Very personal and non-intimidating.

%Title: NAMBLA BULLETIN: Voice of the North American Man/Boy Love
Association
%Descr: Volume 14 Issue 5
A publication of the North American Man/Boy Love
Association. Mostly news of our shrinking freedoms within
this wonderfully repressive society.
Peter Melzer's plight continues as a result of a sensationlist
piece on WNBC-TV. The School Board want to remove him while the
New York Times, surprisingly, came out (somewhat) in his defense.
After the UN granted observer status to the International Lesbian
and Gay Association it wants them to sever ties with NAMBLA. The
*Bulletin* is becoming good friends with other zines by printing
a long interview excerpt from Teg's *Bundle of Sticks.*
We here at Factsheet Five do not encourage or advocate the

U.S. law. We also don't believe this publication contradicts such

A new magazine of erotic with a finely honed aestetic sense.

Copeland, Bart Pigalle, and Mark Butler.

interesting-looking zine.

"general version. Include an age statement and you'll be treated

Robert Howington, pagan/radical fairy poetry, questioning

%Title: THE SEX MANIAC'S BIBLE: By X
%Descr: I finally get to see the legendary *Sex Maniac's Bible*
produced by London's queen of sex, Tuppy Owens. It's
everthing I expected and a whole lot more. In case you

groups, and more. There's even an international sex language

Everytime I open this up I find more incredible stuff. Some of
the listing are old and there's an emphasis on the U.K. but
there's many listings for the U.S. and for anyone that does at
least a fair bit of traveling. I enjoyed the section describing
different sex games to play. The various fetish club listings
were really interesting too. There's even recomendations for good
porn videos. I'm not sure on the price or availablity but it's
definetely something worth looking into.

%Title: UNCOMMON DESIRES NEWSLETTER Issue 13 May, 1993
%Descr: Lawrence Stanley is one brave soul publishing this
informative newsletter about the government's restrictions
on our freedoms of speach. Because he focuses on the
publication of underage erotic images he becomes an enemy of
both the government *and* traditional PC liberals. Well in
my mind a free speach advocate is a free speach advocate.
You can't have it both ways, to say you're "for a free press
except for..." is not a free press statement.
This issue has the tragic story of man's healthy friendship with
a young girl. Tragic becase the man was framed in a government
sting operation which led to lengthy interogation of the girl.
The interogations produced nothing but probably screwed up the
girl forever. More bad news: two girls (11 & 12) were arrested
for normal sex play with a two younger children. S. Lightpoint
explored examples of adolecent attraction to older men.
We here at Factsheet Five do not encourage or advocate the
production or distibution of any materials which run afoul of
U.S. law. We also don't believe this publication contradicts such
laws. Readers should keep in mind that our reviews do not
